That's cool and all but apparently there is some controversy around it. The family of Micheal Jackson, including his kids AND his mother and father, are calling foul. They say that 3-4 tracks, out of what is expected to be a 10-12 track CD, is material that the never heard their father/son do... They claim that the record company used a "sound-a-like".
The record company denies the claims (of course) and says that they have in fact used voice authentication through the services of "sound experts" and they say that it is none other than the king of pop himself (of course, once again). They even went as far as to release a small promotional clip saying that its him screaming at the end, which can be heard in the video below. The clip is mostly instrumental and not much Mike at all. I dont know about you, but I think I gotta go with the people who would know his voice best (read: his family, who probably heard him talk/sing everyday for their entire lives) before I'd put my money on some "sound experts". But I could be wrong... He could have been away from them for long enough to record these tracks. I mean, look at all the music Tupac Shakur release after his "death" in September of 1996...
